16. Apple Sneakers—$50,000
These high-value white shoes were originally made by Omega Sports (no longer in operation) and were given to those Apple staff members who attended a national sales conference in the mid-’90s. Now, in mid-2023, a pair of these shoes are available for sale from Sotheby’s for $50,000. They were never made available to the public; the auctioneers say the sneakers are “one of the most obscure in existence and highly coveted on the resale market.” The successful bidder will get the sneakers, which are brand new, as well as an alternative pair of red laces. They’re a size 10.5 US. There is at least one online business, (The Missing Bite), dedicated to selling Apple memorabilia if the sneakers inspire more purchasing of the rainbow fruit logo!
