This 30-centimeter-wide Himalaya Birkin bag is made with white or albino ‘niloticus’ crocodile skin, which is extremely rare. The exotic skin is painstakingly dyed for tons of hours to emulate the snowy appearance of the Himalayan mountains. The handbag has an 18-karat gold-shell and is covered with over 240 diamonds. In May 2017, it went up for sale at Christie’s Hong Kong auction house. This limited-edition Himalaya Birkin broke all world records at the time by selling for an amazing $379,000. Kim Kardashian, Victoria Beckham, and Jennifer Lopez are some of the celebrities that have their version typical of the Himalaya Birkin, one of the most expensive bags in the world.
